Washington (USA), August 6 (LaPresse) – Five soldiers were injured and taken to the hospital following a shooting at Fort Stewart, a U.S. Army base in Georgia. This was reported by CNN, citing base authorities.
The attacker has been arrested.
The extent of the injuries sustained by the soldiers is not yet clear, and no information has been released about the identity, motives, or condition of the assailant.
The lockdown has been lifted for most of the base, which is home to about 10,000 people, including both military personnel and civilians.
