Washington (United States), 6 August (LaPresse/AP) – A small medical transport plane crashed and caught fire in the Navajo Nation in northern Arizona, USA, killing four people. The accident, which occurred on Tuesday, involved a Csi Aviation flight from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and occurred near Chinle Airport, about 300 miles northeast of Phoenix. Two pilots and two medical personnel were on their way to the hospital to pick up a patient in need of intensive care. The cause of the accident is currently unknown. The president of the Navajo Nation, the largest Indian reservation in the United States, Buu Nygren, said in a social media post that he was deeply saddened by the news of the accident. The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are conducting investigations to clarify what happened.
