Turin, Aug. 7 (LaPresse) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that Israel “will not annex the Gaza Strip” and that the plan is to transfer the Strip to a governing body that will control it temporarily. Speaking at a press conference with Indian journalists following a meeting with Indian Ambassador to Israel JP Singh, Netanyahu told CNN-News18, as reported by Haaretz, that the main objectives of the war remain “the complete destruction of Hamas and the return of all Israeli hostages.”
