Rome, 8 August (LaPresse) – Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi reported that he had a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin during which the two leaders discussed the situation in Ukraine. "I had a very good and detailed conversation with my friend, President Putin. I thank him for sharing the latest developments on Ukraine,‘ Modi wrote on X. ’We also reviewed progress on our bilateral agenda and reaffirmed our commitment to further deepen the India-Russia special strategic and privileged partnership. I look forward to hosting President Putin in India later this year," he added.
