Rome, Aug 11 (LaPresse) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone conversation with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. "I appreciate his support. I informed him about our diplomatic efforts and ongoing contacts with partners to end the war. Communication with leaders is taking place almost 24/7; we are in constant contact. Now is a real opportunity to achieve peace — but it must be real and lasting, with security guarantees. This matters not only for Ukraine, but for every European country," Zelensky wrote on X. "We share the same view on the risks of any decision made without Ukraine and Europe. I thank Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud for his clarity in supporting this position and his commitment to peace," he added. "We agreed that our teams will coordinate all necessary efforts. We also discussed joint projects to strengthen both our nations. Our teams will define all the details," Zelensky concluded.
