Milan, 14 August (LaPresse) – US President Donald Trump does not want to leave any option unexplored to achieve peace in Ukraine. This is what White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said in an interview with Fox News. ‘Russian President Vladimir Putin requested this meeting tomorrow’ in Alaska, and ‘President Trump wants to exhaust all options to try to bring this war to a peaceful resolution,’ Leavitt said. The meeting in Alaska will be an opportunity for Trump ‘to sit down, look the Russian president in the eye and see what progress can be made to move forward with the process of ending this brutal war and restoring peace,’ Leavitt added.
