Turin, Aug 19 (LaPresse) – “During the negotiations in Alaska, there was a very positive atmosphere, reflected in the statements of President Putin and President Trump. From the meeting, it emerged that the American president’s team sincerely wants to achieve a long-term outcome,” said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with Rossiya 24. “Trump and his team, especially after the meeting in Alaska, have begun to approach this crisis in a much more thorough manner, understanding that it is necessary to address the root causes, as President Putin has always emphasized,” he added.
