But we will continue to play an active role in trying to ensure that Ukrainians have the security guarantees and confidence they need to end the war, and that the Russians feel they can conclude it." So said US Vice President JD Vance in an interview with NBC, regarding the possibility that the United States could send troops to Ukraine to help enforce a possible peace agreement.
