Milan, 31 August (LaPresse) – Two climate activists from the Futuro Vegetal group were arrested today by security guards at the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona after throwing coloured powder at the façade of the historic building to protest against this summer's fires. 'We threw coloured powder at the façade of the Sagrada Familia to protest against the complicity of various governments in the fires that devastated the peninsula this summer,' reads a post published on X by Futuro Vegetal, to which a video is also attached. La Vanguardia reports that the two activists were released by the police after paying a fine of €600.
