New York, September 2 (LaPresse) – A historic leadership change at Vogue America. The era of Anna Wintour, 75, is ending, and Chloe Malle, 39, is taking over. Malle, previously head of vogue.com and co-host of the fashion and culture podcast 'The Run-Through,' will manage Vogue America’s daily operations and report to Wintour. Wintour will remain responsible for content at Condé Nast and global editorial director of Vogue America and its 27 editions worldwide. Daughter of actress Candice Bergen and late French director Louis Malle, Chloe joined Vogue as social editor in 2011, became contributing editor in 2016, and has held her current role since 2023. “Vogue has shaped who I am, now I’m excited to shape Vogue,” said Malle. Wintour led Vogue America for nearly 40 years and inspired the character Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada.
