Milan, Sept. 2 (LaPresse) – “In recent days in China, Putin has been spinning his fairy tales—as if he weren’t responsible for the war. As if someone is always ‘forcing’ him to fight, kill, send children to shelters, deploy thousands to assault our positions,” wrote Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a Telegram post. “The Russians are growing bolder: they are increasingly attacking Ukraine with dozens of combat drones during the day,” he added, and “we are now witnessing a strengthening of Russian forces in some areas of the front.” Zelensky emphasized: “But he doesn’t want to be ‘forced’ into peace. Russia continues to strike. Naturally, we will respond. We will respond asymmetrically, so that Russia feels the consequences of their arrogance.”
