Milan, 4 September (LaPresse) – The death toll from yesterday's accident in Lisbon has risen to 17 dead and 21 injured, where the “Elevador da Gloria” funicular tram connecting the upper and lower parts of the city derailed and crashed into a building. This was announced by the director of Lisbon's Civil Protection Service, Margarida Castro Martins, who explained that two of the injured died during the night. This was reported by local media. The sixteenth victim was confirmed shortly before the Civil Protection Service released the new figures.
