Milan, 4 September (LaPresse) – Lisbon City Council has suspended three more funicular railway lines in the city after yesterday's derailment of the “Elevador da Gloria” funicular railway, which killed at least 17 people. In a previous press conference, the director of Lisbon's civil protection service, Margarida Castro Martins, said that the Bica and Lavra funicular railways and the Graça funicular railway had been suspended. The Graça funicular railway began operating in March 2024. This was reported by the BBC.
