Tel Aviv, Sept 7 (LaPresse) – The United States have conveyed to Hamas a new set of principles for a comprehensive agreement. According to the Israeli public broadcaster Kan, this is not a full and formal proposal, but rather principles meant to guide the continuation of negotiations. The offer, reported on the public TV website, was presented through the mediation of Gershon Baskin, who has previously negotiated with Hamas. Baskin reportedly received the proposal from the special envoy of US President Donald Trump, Steve Witkoff.
