Rome, 7 September (LaPresse) – Approximately 100,000 civilians have left Gaza City in the context of the new Israeli military operation. This was stated by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during the weekly cabinet meeting in Jerusalem. The Times of Israel reports. About 100,000 people have left Gaza. Hamas is trying to do everything it can to prevent them from leaving and to keep them there as human shields,‘ he said, explaining that Israel's goal is ’to focus on the terrorists themselves and allow the civilian population to leave."
