Kiev, Sept 7 (LaPresse) – "Last night Russia carried out another massive attack on Ukraine. Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro, Kremenchuk, and Odessa were under fire. For the first time, a government building’s roof and upper floors were damaged due to an enemy attack. Rescue teams are extinguishing the flames. I thank them for their work."
This was written on Facebook by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, who posted photos of the fire at the Cabinet of Ministers building.
“The buildings will be restored,” she assured. “But the lives lost cannot be brought back. The enemy terrorizes and kills our people across the country every day. The world must respond to this destruction not only with words but with actions.”
“Sanctions pressure must be strengthened, especially against Russian oil and gas. New restrictions are needed against the Kremlin’s war machine. And above all, Ukraine needs weapons. This will stop the terror and prevent Russia from trying to kill Ukrainians every day.”
