Rome, 7 September (LaPresse) – US President Donald Trump is reportedly preparing, together with his aides, a trip to South Korea in October to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit to be held in the city of Gyeongju between late October and early November. CNN reports this, citing three US administration officials. The summit, it is explained, is considered a key opportunity for Trump to meet with Chinese leader Xi Jinping. Officials said there have been serious discussions about a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of APEC, but no definitive plans are in place.
