Rome, Sept. 7 (LaPresse) – A man was slightly injured by shrapnel after a drone hit Ramon Airport in southern Israel, according to Magen David Adom, the Israeli emergency medical service. The drone, launched from Yemen, struck the passenger terminal of the airport, causing damage, reports the Times of Israel. Images from the scene show smoke rising near the terminal. No sirens sounded for the drone that hit Ramon Airport, the Israeli newspaper reports, confirming information from the military. The defense forces stated they are investigating the failure to identify the drone, which is believed to have been launched from Yemen. Previously, three other Houthi drones from Yemen had been shot down by the Israeli Air Force.
