Turin, 8 September (LaPresse) – A huge crowd gathered at the port of Sidi Bou Said, Tunisia, to welcome the boats of the Global Sumud Flotilla, bound for Gaza. BBC reports that images from the port show groups of people surrounding Greta Thunberg, who is travelling with 350 pro-Palestinian activists on boats loaded with aid that they hope to deliver to Palestinians in Gaza. French-Palestinian Member of the European Parliament Rima Hassan was also present at the port. The Global Sumud Flotilla will now remain in Tunisia for a few days before resuming its journey to Gaza.
