Milan, 9 September (LaPresse) – Last night, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told security agencies to prepare for an attack against Hamas leaders abroad, following yesterday's attack in Jerusalem, in which six people died, and the attack on an Israeli tank in northern Gaza, in which four soldiers died. Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz made the announcement in a joint statement. According to the statement, Katz ‘fully supported’ the move. The Times of Israel reported that the two identified an ‘operational opportunity’ at noon today and gave the green light to the IDF and Shin Bet.
