An unacceptable act that I firmly condemn, with a dual purpose: to provoke and to test. Moscow is deliberately fueling an escalation that no one wants. It is clear that it has no interest in a truce or in peace," said Defense Minister Guido Crosetto on X. "I express solidarity with my counterpart Kosiniak-Kamysz and with the entire Polish people: Italy, together with NATO Allies, stands by Poland and every nation of the Atlantic Alliance in defense of security and peace," Crosetto added.
