Rome, 13 September (LaPresse) – The IDF has urged residents of Gaza City to leave the city, stating that it is ‘intensifying the pace of attacks’. ‘I urge you, for your own safety,’ to ‘move immediately to the humanitarian zone in Mawasi and the empty areas of the central refugee camps,’ Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee wrote on X. "The IDF is determined to defeat Hamas in Gaza City and is therefore intensifying the pace of its attacks. Hamas' attempts to spread lies and prevent you from leaving the city demonstrate its willingness to put your lives at risk for its own survival." According to army estimates, more than 250,000 residents of Gaza City have left the city, which has a population of about one million.
