Kyiv, September 13 (LaPresse) – “Russian flags are flying at the Venice Film Festival. Because art is supposedly above politics. Art is for the living at festivals, not for the dead in Ukrainian cities after another Russian attack. How can Russia be rewarded for war and welcomed back into the world as if nothing had happened?” This is what Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on X, sharing the speech he delivered at the annual Yalta European Strategy meeting in Kyiv, where he called for increased pressure on Vladimir Putin’s Russia to end the war.
