Rome, 16 September (LaPresse) – During a conversation with the new US Ambassador to the Holy See, Brian Burch, ‘the Pope confirmed that he is praying for Charlie Kirk, his wife and children, expressed concern about political violence and spoke of the need to refrain from rhetoric and exploitation that lead to polarisation rather than dialogue’. This was reported to journalists by the director of the Holy See Press Office, Matteo Bruni.
