Jerusalem, 17 September (LaPresse/AP) – Many Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip have been cut off from the outside world. The Palestinian Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, based in the occupied West Bank, said Israeli attacks on major network lines in northern Gaza caused internet and telephone services to collapse this morning. The Associated Press tried unsuccessfully to contact many people in Gaza City.
