New York (USA), Sept. 18 (LaPresse) – ABC has indefinitely suspended Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show following the host’s comments about the murder of Charlie Kirk. The network’s decision came after ABC affiliate stations owned by Nexstar announced they would suspend Jimmy Kimmel Live indefinitely due to the remarks. “Mr. Kimmel’s comments about Mr. Kirk’s death are offensive and insensitive at a critical time in the national political debate, and we do not believe they reflect the spectrum of opinions, viewpoints, or values of the local communities in which we operate,” said Andrew Alford, President of Nexstar’s Broadcast Division.
