Milan, 19 September (LaPresse) – ‘I can confirm that the EU Commission has adopted a new package of sanctions, the 19th’ against Russia. This was announced by a spokesperson for the EU executive during the daily briefing. The spokesperson added that the President of the EU Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, ‘will make a statement on the matter’ together with EU High Representative Kaja Kallas in the afternoon, announcing the package.
