London Heathrow and Berlin airports also stated that the attack caused flight disruptions, advising passengers to confirm their travel with airlines before heading to the airport. Brussels Airport said the attack rendered automated systems unusable, allowing only manual check-in and boarding procedures. ‘This will have a significant impact on the flight schedule and will unfortunately cause delays and flight cancellations,’ the website said. "Due to a technical problem at a system provider operating across Europe, check-in waiting times are longer. We are working on a quick solution," reads the Berlin Airport website. Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Frankfurt Airport stated that the airport was not affected by the attack.
