Milan, Sept. 21 (LaPresse) – A spokesperson for the Glendale Police Department, Jose Santiago, told CNN that over 200,000 people could attend today’s commemoration for conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was killed on September 10 on a Utah campus. CNN notes that this is double the previous estimate of 100,000 people. Santiago said that over 200,000 people have registered for the event on Turning Point USA’s website. This would easily exceed the available seating: according to the website, State Farm Stadium, where the commemoration will take place, has a capacity of over 63,000 people, expandable to accommodate another 10,000; additionally, Desert Diamond Arena, which will serve as a supplementary venue, has seating for around 19,000.
