Turin, 22 September (LaPresse) – Charlie Kirk ‘was violently killed because he spoke in the name of freedom and God's justice, of his country, of reason and common sense’. This was stated by US President Donald Trump in his speech at the funeral of the activist killed on 10 September at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. ‘He was killed for speaking the truth that was in his heart,’ Trump added, calling the killer ‘a radicalised monster.’ Charlie Kirk ‘did not hate his opponents’ and ‘wanted the best for them.’ ‘That's where I disagreed with Charlie. I hate my opponents and I don't want the best for them,’ the tycoon continued.
