Milan, Sept. 24 (LaPresse) – The Global Sumud Flotilla has reported "explosions, heavy drone swarms, and communication signal disruptions" affecting some of its ships navigating in international waters near Crete, Greece. Several boats in the humanitarian fleet reported "targeted explosions and unidentified objects being launched at or near the vessels, causing significant damage and widespread communication interference."
In a post on social media, the organizers stated that "at least 13 explosions" were "heard on and around several flotilla vessels, along with widespread communication outages."
"Over the past 24 hours, more than 15 low-flying drones hovered above the vessel Alma, appearing roughly every 10 minutes," the post reads. "Participants in the flotilla reported objects being dropped on at least 10 vessels by drones or aircraft, causing damage. No casualties have been reported. The full extent of the damage will be assessed in daylight."
