This is what a senior White House official quoted by the Washington Post said after the surprise caused by Trump's apparent change of position, who said on Tuesday that he believes Kiev, ‘with the support of the European Union’, can regain the whole of Ukraine ‘in its original form’. According to the source, this change of position is a sign of Trump's frustration with Vladimir Putin a month before their summit in Alaska.
