Tajani: "Drones? I don’t think Italy is a military target"

Rome, Sep 27 (LaPresse) – "I hope this doesn’t happen. I don’t believe Putin wants to unleash World War Three. I also don’t think Italy is a military target, but our air defense is always able to monitor what’s happening and to shoot down drones with hostile intentions, just as NATO can do. I think Putin is testing the reactions of the West, and the West has always shown it knows how to respond." These were the words of Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani, interviewed by "4 di Sera Weekend" on Rete4, regarding Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s remarks that Russia could be ready to attack another European country.
