Rome, Oct. 3 (LaPresse) – The Italian Embassy has deployed consulate staff to the port of Ashdod to carry out consular visits and request the immediate release of all Italians detained following the Global Sumud Flotilla initiative. The Foreign Ministry (Farnesina) reports in a statement that the four parliamentarians on board the Flotilla have been released and will return to Italy today.
