Milan, 3 October. (LaPresse) – ‘Four Italian citizens have already been expelled. The others are in the process of being expelled. Israel intends to complete this procedure as quickly as possible.’ This was written by the Israeli Foreign Ministry in a post on X. The ministry reiterated its accusation that the Global Sumud Flotilla is linked to Hamas and wanted to carry out a ‘provocation.’ ‘As Israel, Italy, Greece and the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem have repeatedly stated, any aid these ships might have been carrying, however small, could have been transferred peacefully to Gaza,’ the ministry wrote. It added: ‘Attached are photos of Greta Thunberg and other members of this provocation upon their arrival in Israel. All are safe and in good health.’
