Rome, 25 October (LaPresse) – US President Donald Trump intends to raise the issue of resolving Russian aggression against Ukraine during a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping. ‘One of the topics we will discuss is Russia and Ukraine,’ Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One en route to Malaysia, as reported by Interfax. The tycoon said that the Chinese leader also wants ‘all this to end.’ The American president noted that the United States has imposed ‘massive sanctions against Russia.’ At the same time, Trump said he would like Beijing to help Washington resolve the military conflict against Ukraine. ‘We have a lot to talk about with President Xi, and he has a lot to talk about with us. I think we will have a good meeting,’ the US president concluded.
