Milan, 29 October (LaPresse) – Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness has declared the island a “disaster zone” after Hurricane Melissa. “The reports we have received so far include damage to hospitals, significant damage to residential properties, homes and also commercial properties,” said Holness, speaking of the “devastating impact” of the hurricane. The BBC reports that there are at least three victims.
