This was announced by US Vice President JD Vance and Transport Secretary Sean Duffy at a roundtable discussion at the White House with representatives from the aviation, travel and trade union sectors, during which they expressed their concerns about the current state of the industry and developed possible temporary solutions to ease the pressure on Federal Aviation Administration employees, who are forced to work without pay to ensure that Americans can fly safely, according to two White House officials speaking to CNN.
