Milan, 1 Nov. (LaPresse) – ‘A complex operation is underway to destroy and repel enemy forces from Pokrovsk.’ This was announced in a message on Telegram by the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian armed forces, Oleksandr Syrsky. ‘In the Pokrovsk-Mirnograd urban agglomeration, our soldiers must contain the pressure of an enemy group composed of thousands of men, who continue to attempt to infiltrate residential settlements and cut off our supply routes,’ the message reads, ‘however, there is no encirclement or blockade of the cities, we are doing everything possible to ensure logistics.’ ‘Pokrovsk, we are holding it,’ Syrsky assured, ‘the enemy in Pokrovsk is paying the highest price for trying to carry out the orders of the Kremlin dictator to occupy the Ukrainian Donbas.’
