Milan, 3 November (LaPresse) – The former military advocate general of the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF), Major General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, will remain in custody until midday on Wednesday. This was decided by the Tel Aviv court. She and former chief military prosecutor Colonel Matan Solomosh were arrested last night on charges of attempting to obstruct an investigation into the leak of footage showing the abuse of a Palestinian prisoner in the Sde Teiman detention camp. Solomosh will also remain in custody until noon on Wednesday. Police suspect that he knew Tomer-Yerushalmi was behind the Sde Teiman leak and tried to cover it up.
