Jerusalem, November 3 (LaPresse) – The former military attorney general of the Israeli army (IDF), Major General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, has been arrested by the police. The woman had been missing for many hours today before being found in Herzliya, a beach near Tel Aviv. The police also arrested the former chief prosecutor, Lieutenant Colonel Matan Solomosh. Both are suspected of obstruction of justice for the leak of the video showing abuses in the Sde Teiman detention center and for an alleged subsequent cover-up through false reports provided to officials regarding an internal investigation into the leak.
