Washington (USA), Nov 7 (LaPresse) – U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced overnight in Italy another U.S. strike against a vessel that, according to him, was carrying drugs in the Caribbean Sea. The attack killed three people on board, bringing the death toll of the Trump administration's campaign in South American waters to at least 69 in 17 strikes. Hegseth posted a 20-second video of the attack on social media, writing: “As we have said before, attacks on narcoterrorist boats will continue until they stop poisoning the American people.” He added that the vessel was “operated by a designated terrorist organization.”
