Washington (United States), Nov. 17 (LaPresse) – In a reversal of his previous positions, U.S. President Donald Trump has asked Republican representatives to vote in favor of releasing the documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case. “We have nothing to hide, and it’s time to turn the page on this Democratic hoax perpetrated by lunatics of the radical left to distract from the great success of the Republican Party,” the Washington leader wrote on social media after landing at Joint Base Andrews. The vote was promoted by Democrats and a group of Republicans. If approved, the Justice Department would be required to make additional documents related to the case public. Trump’s change of stance is likely linked to the fact that supporters of the measure in the House already have the votes needed for its approval. The path in the Senate is more difficult.
