Milan, Nov. 21 (LaPresse) – Volodymyr Zelensky, in a speech published by his office, recalled his oath of loyalty to Ukraine when he became president in 2019. “And every day, with every word, I remain faithful to it. I will never betray it,” he assured. “Ukraine’s national interest must be taken into account. We do not make grand statements. We will work quietly with America and all partners,” the president further stressed, speaking about the US plan for peace. “I will present arguments, I will persuade, I will offer alternatives, but we will certainly not give the enemy any reason to say that it is Ukraine that does not want peace, that it is Ukraine that is breaking off the process, and that Ukraine is not ready for diplomacy.”
