Rome, Nov. 26 (LaPresse) – Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov described as “premature” statements suggesting that the situation in Ukraine is close to a peace agreement. “It is too early to say,” he told Tass. Peskov also confirmed that “there are contacts” underway between Russia and the United States. He added that there is still no precise date for the visit to Russia by U.S. President’s special envoy Steve Witkoff. “As soon as the exact timing of these contacts in Moscow is defined, we will let you know,” he stressed.
