Milan, 29 Nov. (LaPresse) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky ‘was my friend before this appointment and will remain so afterwards’. This was stated in an interview with the Financial Times by former Chief of Staff Andriy Yermak, who resigned after being investigated for corruption. ‘The delegation under my leadership in Geneva, together with our American partners, managed to ensure that the 28-point document no longer existed,’ he said, referring to the revised peace plan, which has become more favourable to Kyiv. ‘In any case, despite pressure, the president will not sign or approve anything that contradicts Ukraine's interests,’ he added.
