Rome, 30 November (LaPresse) – Several law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, are involved in the ongoing investigation into the shooting that took place overnight at a family restaurant in Stockton, a city in northern California, which left four people dead and 14 injured. This was reported by the Los Angeles Times. The victims include children. ‘A tragedy of this nature is unthinkable,’ said San Joaquin County District Attorney Ron Freitas. ‘It breaks our hearts to lose lives, and to lose the lives of children in our community. Right now, we are doing everything we can to bring the person responsible for this to justice.’ ‘When this person is caught, I promise that we will make all the resources of my office available to bring them to justice,’ Freitas added in a post on X. ‘Children should not suffer violence caused by firearms or criminal gangs.’
