Brussels, 8 December (LaPresse) – ‘The Trump administration's security strategy outlines an American preference and the protection of the American continent. We must do the same for our continent, the European continent, involving shared common growth with the southern hemisphere closest to us.’ This was stated by the Minister for Enterprise and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, upon his arrival at the EU Competitiveness Council in Brussels. "I am referring to the African continent, the Persian Gulf and, along Southeast Asia, certainly India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and even Australia. We must play an active role in protecting our continent and, at the same time, involving others who can share with us, for example, and not only, strategic supply chains for critical materials, energy sources and everything else necessary to make our businesses competitive," Urso emphasised.
