Turin, 10 December (LaPresse) – Former Bolivian president Luis Arce has been arrested on an order issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office, which has placed him under investigation for corruption. This has been reported by local media. According to rumours, Arce is involved in an alleged multi-million pound embezzlement scheme involving public funds earmarked for the development of indigenous and farming communities. The irregularities date back to the Evo Morales government (2006-2019), during which Arce served as Minister of Economy.
