Washington, Dec. 10 (LaPresse) – President Donald Trump promoted his tariff policies as a cornerstone of his economic program, reiterating that “tariffs” is one of his favorite words. “We have collected hundreds of billions of dollars, actually thousands of billions,” Trump said during a rally in Pennsylvania. “To this we add all the companies that are investing in building plants in Pennsylvania and in many other states. Car factories, artificial intelligence plants, facilities of every kind, which we would never have had if we hadn’t imposed tariffs,” he added.
